The American Bar Association has selected Martin Glick as the 2014 John Minor Wisdom Public Service and Professionalism Award! The John Minor Wisdom Public Service and Professionalism Award was established by the ABA Section of Litigation in 1990. It is named for The Honorable John Minor Wisdom, a scholar and jurist of the highest integrity whose tenure on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit is best known for its recognition of constitutional rights of all citizens.
We are pleased that our nomination of CRLA Alum of Marty was approved! With his current firm, Arnold Porter and his former firm, Howard Rice, Marty has been a stalwart supporter of CRLA. Marty and his firm have contributed extensive, high-level pro bono legal representation for almost 30 years. Their support, as pro bono corporate, has allowed CRLA to stave off political-motivated attacks from our conservative foes. By defending CRLA, Marty and Arnold Porter have enabled our advocates to continue to provide direct legal service to low-income rural communities. We congratulate Marty!
