Overview:
CRLA and a coalition of civil rights advocates including Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance Inc., MALDEF, Equal Justice Society, and the Dolores Huerta Foundation who are representing Latino and African American students and parents have settled with the Kern High School District (KHSD). KHSD's discipline practices have deprived African American and Latino students of the right to an education. The links below will provide more information about this case.
